Angļu vikipēdija: "Tropic of Cancer is a novel by Henry Miller, first published in 1934 by Obelisk Press in Paris and still in print."
Teksts Dienas "Vēža tropa" izdevumā: "Amerikāņu rakstnieka Henrija Millera romāns "Vēža trops" ("Tropic of Cancer") pirmoreiz iznāca Parīzē 1934. gadā, taču tā atkārtoti izdevumi turpina iznākt līdz pat mūsdienām."
Bet tā vēl varētu būt sakritība - atšķirībā no, piemēram, šī teikuma -
vikipēdijai: "While famous for its frank and often graphic depiction of sex, the book is also widely regarded as an important masterpiece of 20th century literature."
Dienai: "Lai gan atklāto seksuālo ainu dēļ romāns ir izpelnījies skandalozu slavu, "Vēža trops" nenoliedzami pieskaitāms pie XX gadsimta literatūras šedevriem."
Vai šī -
vikipēdijai: "The novel is set in 1930s France, primarily Paris. It is written in the first person, as are many of Miller's other novels, and often fluctuates between past and present tense. Some chapters follow a strict narrative and refer to Miller's actual friends, colleagues, and workplaces; others are written as stream-of-consciousness reflections."
Dienai: "Romāna darbība risinās XX gadsimta 30. gados Parīzē. Nav jau, protams, sperts vārds vārdā, tomēr - nepārprotami. Vikipēdija, protams, ir "brīva" enciklopēdija, taču tas, starp citu, nebūt nenozīmē, ka, to citējot vai tās materiālu šādi pārstrādājot, uz to drīkst neatsaukties. |
