All any opposition has left is an "opinion", while the position has literal power to jail the opposition for it.

Regarding these cool old punks, I think that they (me included for a while and still from time to time) had an arrogant view of the hoi polloi. It was always - really - a scene for the well-informed cool ones, which was okay when they (we) were in opposition.

During Cvd times they had the position opinion, and were especially condescending and authoritarian.

It has been some education.
