Why is it so easy to give good advice to others,
but so hard to follow the same advice yourself?

Because doing the right thing is hard.

It is the same for anyone who receives good advice, be it from himself or someone else.

tas piederas pie vecā labā mērfija - es varu dot, labus ieteikumus un cilvēki ir priecīgi, but when it comes to following one, you just gave to other, you start to realize, that you don't actually believe in what you are saying, and than you need someone else to tell you the exact same thing.
