09:25 pm - Priceless Yesterday I witnessed three hugely drunk guys holding a metaphysical discussion on the topic of "humanity does not mean tolerance". One of them ended up horizontally face-down on the sofa. And some remarks and revelations were still being produced from such a state.
It almost seems like men get a bit smarter when their brain turns off. Or whatever is that thing blocked by enormous amounts of alcohol that usually hinders their thinking.

Humanity, or being human, does not necessarily mean tolerance, as we all see it very well. Being humane, on the other hand, does mean that, among other things.

Well, being humane, like people are nowadays, is sort of destroying everything, slowly creating chaos. Ok, I might not be drunk enough to explain properly. Though, who knows, maybe it doesn't even work on females.
I am not sure we both talk about one and the same definition oh 'humane'. For me, humane as in humanism.

Yes, as in humanism. It's often wrong.
How exactly is it wrong, I would like to ask. And, even if it is so, it is still, by my opinion, the best way to go we currently have, and certainly it lies in the right direction regarding future.
I've never seen anything destroyed by tolerance. But it's just me. I haven't seen a lot of things.
Besides, chaos equals order. We don't have enough power to turn order back directly, so we create chaos till it becomes order - that's just how it works. |
