Opā, sagribējās kaut ko iespamot par šiem ēteriskajiem un it kā nepelnīti mazzināmajiem (?) austrāļiem, no kuriem līdz šim manas ausis pārsteidzoši maigi skāris bija tikai 2006.ā gada albūms An Inexact Science (novilku tikai grupas nosaukuma dēļ / Re: In Gowan Ring & Bredberijs), un uzdūros viņu šī gada veikumam, par kuru neko nezināju un tikai šobrīd zogu, taču par kvalitāti un eventuālo baudījumu nešaubos. Tāpēc kaļu dzelzi, kamēr karsta...
„While based in Melbourne, Australia, Dandelion Wine inhabit a very different world. A world where centuries bleed into one another to create a seamless whole. A world where medieval instruments collide headlong with electronic beats. A world where angelic vocals soar over waves of distorted guitars. A world where gentle acoustic whispers sit alongside impassioned blasts of inner turmoil.
The new album Selected Anachronisms (April 2008, Ars Musica Diffundere/Black Rain) shows quite a marked difference to the previous album An Inexact Science, with a greater emphasis on the big beats and intense energy of the Dandelion Wine live show. The album still displays the ethereal vocals and haunting atmospheres of the band's previous releases but raises the energy to a level not heard on a Dandelion Wine record before. Selected Anachronisms also features the widest array of instruments used by the band on a record to date.”
