I thought humans were image of god and whatnot.

I feel like we have to adjust our understanding of god and his intentions a bit too much?

Or maybe it is still just ego wanting to be on top of understanding things that are not meant/needed to be explained yet.

we are given a distorted image of God in order to not understand. it is truly beyond normal understanding. that is the fight against the devil in human terms.
