mēness aug un neļauj gulēt. vakarnakt nenāca miegs un negribējās darīt neko prātīgu. rezultātā ir tapis mana zirga "ģimenes albums". tas būtu tik kruti, ja savējo varētu tāpat uztaisīt - drusku paklikšķināties un lērums bilžu + informācijas rokā.
Radis dzimis 2002. gada 27. martā Preiļu rajonā, Riebiņu pagastā – diezgan smalkā zirgaudzētavā „Trīs vītolu staļļi”

Bilžu no viņa bērnības man nav, senākās, ko izdevās dabūt ir no 2005. gada.
Viņa tēvs – Ramses, importēts no Nīderlandes un pārstāv Holandiešu karalisko jājamzirgu šķirni – KWPN. Ar tēvu bilžu man nav, kādu laiku atpakaļ kontaktējos ar „Trīs vītolu staļļu” saimnieku, bet arī viņam neatradās neviena bilde ar Ramses. Man toties ir viena bilde ar Ramses dēlu, Rada pusbrāli – Rinaldo, kurš bija vaislas ērzelis un esot bijis diezgan līdzīgs tēvam. Diemžēl, gan Ramses, gan Rinaldo krita jauni – viens 6 gadu, otrs 4 gadu vecumā. Abi paspējuši atstājuši krietnu pulku pēcnācēju, no kuriem gan lielākā daļa eksportēti.

Ļoti priecājos, ka izdevās interneta dzīlēs atrast vairākas bildes ar Rada mammu Rasmu. Viņa sākumā eksportēta uz Igauniju, pēc tam aizceļojusi uz Somiju. Ja viņa vēl ir dzīva, tad rīt viņai paliks 20 gadi.
Man šķiet, ka mans Radis ir diezgan atsities mātē.

Jumbo Jets is a beautiful horse who proved to have a remarkable amount of jumping ability which was evident at his performance test in Ermelo. In his first year in competition he immediately became the Netherlands Reserve Champion from among all is jumping contemporaries in the KNHS/KWPN championships for the Ian Trophy. And again later that year he became Reserve Champion in the Stallion Competition, which he lead most of the way. As a six year olds Jumbo Jet qualified for the finals and the World Championships for young show jumpers in Lanaken. He won third place in this difficult test for stallions. The following year in Oslo he took first rank Internationally. It was a shame that after this he had to end his career in sport due to injury. The percentage of Jumbo Jets offspring that proved to do really well in show jumping is extremely impressive. From twenty-five offspring in 1996 alone include; a winner of the five-year-old in Indio, a winner of the five-year-old finals in Varsseveld, a winner of the five-year-olds in Jerez de La Frontera (Spain), a licensed stallion in Hungry, two finalists in the VSN Trophy, two very promising jumping talents sold to America and one with a third viewing at the KWPN stallion selections. From the beginning the name Jumbo Jet has been synonymous with the guarantee of success in show jumping.

Savukārt Rada vecvecvectētiņš ir Voltaire - VOLTAIRE needs no introduction as an exceptional International showjumper, with the most offspring of any stallion at the Olympic Games in Atlanta, and second in the World Breeding Ranking of Showjumping Sires. As an eight year old, VOLTAIRE jumped 1.50 meter courses with a great deal of success. His strength was shown in 1988 International Jumping events at Calgary, Stockholm, Lanaken, Helsinki, Wiesbaden, and Wembley. Rufs L1400 ex. Hamstrup Rufs came from Oldenburg, Germany to Latvia in 1989. He represented a turning point for the latvian breed. He sired 172 foals in the course of 10 years and won several prizes.

Angloarābu ērzelis Ramzes - Ramzes was imported to Germany in 1948 by Clemens Freiherr von Nagel, who initially gave the stallion to German jumping rider, Hans-Heinrich Brinkmann as a competition horse. Ramzes stood at the Holstein Verband in 1951and 1952 to refine the heavy Warmblood horses of the area
He was the most spectatular horse of the 20 century in many ways. He sired 195 offspring from mares of varying quality. Most of these were in the upper percentile of national competition. And to do it in both the disciplinēs of jumping and dressage is really remarkable.
Traķēnis Marco Polo - Marco Polo was one of the foundation sires of the modern Dutch Warmblood sporthorse. Bred by R. Rosenau, Germany. Exported to Holland in 1964. Of Trakehner origin, he was introduced to the Dutch breeding program in 1965. He became one of the greatest sires of the Netherlands, famous for his hereditary jumping talent and obliging character. He sired many international showjumpers and also a number of approved sons and producing daughters.

No ~40 Ramses bērniem Latvijā palikuši tikai ~10 (dažu no tiem, kas it kā datubāzē uzrādās LV bildes esmu atradusi somu lapās, tā kā gan jau, ka mazāk). Trīs ir krituši un viens kauts. Un es nevienu no tiem neesmu satikusi. No Rada radiniekiem esmu satikusi vienu otrās pakāpēs māsīcu un vienu otrās pakāpes brālēnu – abus no mātes tēva puses. Ak jā un varētu teikt, ka Radis šobrīd dzīvo vienā barā ar savu „pamāti” – mūsu staļļa saimnieces ķēvei sen atpakaļ ir bijis kumeliņš no Ramses.
