Ar "our knowledge" es domāju the state of the human knowledge, the foremost truth we have so far been able to reveal about the reality through the four foundations of science - theory, observation, experiment and, more recently, simulation.
Tava galvenā kļūda šeit, protams, ir pieņēmums, ka tās lietas, par ko Tu šeit iestājies, ir "intangible", ka tās nav to pašu domāšanas procesu rezultāti, kas, savukārt, ir tās pašas smadzeņu aktivitātes rezultāti. Māksla un filosofija nepieder nekādam citam domēnam, jo nekāda cita domēna vienkārši nav. Kas attiecas uz abstraktiem konceptiem, tad tie ir tieši un tikai tas - abstrakcijas, vienkāršojumi, konkrētu instanču vispārinājumi. A mighty enough mind would understand everything in its purview in detail and at a glance."
Visbeidzot, es nepiedāvāju "aizvietot" mākslu vai filosofiju ar jelko. Tās netraucē zinātnei, vēl vairāk - tās ir spējīgas tiešām iespaidīgi augt tās klātbūtnē. Kas attiecas uz reliģiju, tad tā nedz ir glābjama, nedz to būtu jāglābj. There will be no peace until these spiritual lies have received a one-way ticket to where they now belong - to oblivion of all the bad ideas humankind has come up with so far. |
