Ja cilvēks atzīst, ka ir tāda lieta kā patiesība, tad arī herēzes konceptam nevajadzētu sagādāt problēmas. Ja patiesības nav, nu tad vienalga, arī pats izteikums var patiesības neesamību tikpat labi var nebūt saistošs.
