stood at the top of the winding stairs at Krishnas, letting people up ahead of me with their full trays.
Person number 1 - nothing, number 2 -nothing - no eye contact, smile, or mumbled paldies, person number 3 bearded hipster, head up in pompous mode - nothing, person no 4 - nothing.
allowed myself to express my appreciation of Latvian culture

vispār es darbā ikdienā diezgan daudz saskaros ar iepriekš neredzētiem cilvēkiem, un man šķiet, ka 30-50-gadniekiem savstarpējā, hm, laipnība un draudzīga izturēšanās ir augusi, kam;er jaunatne ir kļuvusi arogantāka un augstprātīgāka

nu, iespējams, ka tas ir tāpēc, ka es it kā piederu pie pirmās grupas, kuru labprātāk akceptē
