How do I delete my Skype Name or personal profile?
You cannot permenantly delete a Skype name.
Your profile record is not stored permanently. Your profile will automatically expire and will be deleted from the user directory approximately 10 days after you've last used Skype. If you login again with the Skype Name you wish to delete, the Skype Name will get refreshed and you may get the impression that the name has not disappeared yet.
If you want to delete a Skype name from the login screen locate the Skype name and delete the folder found in
C:\Documents and settings\YourWindowsUsername\Application data\Skype\
(The 'Show hidden folders and files' option has to be turned on to do this)
