Ivars Mazurs. Now passed. Used to was living in jazz, levels deeper than u can find. He had hour long broadcasts on LR1 or LR3, maybe just once a week. LR (Latvijas Radio) is exceptional culture quality. I dont know any other countries radios, so i cant judge. But LR1 and L3, LR6 (naba), were never shrinked. Even in ussr Latvijas Radio had pure taste and cleanness.

Ivars Mazurs voice was silent, peaceful, bit foggy, bit scratchy, speaking below his nose in mic, like he is telling u a warm secret. His voice made me see lamps in lamps amplifier. Darkened room. All quiet and dim lights on walls. Stereo set, and experimental jazz sounds
