bet starp citu, did you know that the origin of the phrase has the opposite meaning? a bond you’ve made with someone you’ve shed or shared blood with is stronger than one you have with someone you share genes with.

Bet, funny enough, tie ļaudis, kuŗi ar citiem ļaudīm lej asinis, lieto tādas ģenētiskas metaforas kā "band of brothers", "mirt par tēvzemi" un tādā garā.

mans būt domāt, ka tēvzemes/dzimtenes jēdziens ir tāds pavēlāks. viduslaikos visi lēja asinis par savu karali, vai lendlordu, vai, nezinu, automašīnas līzinga kompāniju? lojalitāte, saproties.
