Would you call the following person an islamophobe?
Someone who has investigated islam a little - watched lectures given by Imans, debates between Imans and non-muslims, talked to Muslims, read parts of the Koran and the Hadiths etc. - and who has come to the conclusion that there are many troubling aspects to the religion and its effects on its believers. Someone who regards an increase in Islamic influence in a/their non-Islamic country as a disturbing phenomenon that ought to be countered?
If the answer is 'yes', would serious discussion with this person be impossible?
