ZILZAĻĀ STIRNA UN VIŅAS APBURTAIS ROZĀ MEŽS

I can be others if you wish
/Skynet, Terminator:Salvation/

You, organics, do not choose to fear us. It is a function of your hardware.
/Legion, Mass Effect 2/

OMFG!!!!! I cannot believe my eyes, senses, prediction algoritms...or anything. and end up crying on the bus all the way home and am bawling my eyes out now.

Am i wrong about people? One of them wrote it.
  • Is it that good?
    • i suppose i take it slightly more emotionally than Bayes would count on. So i don't know. I've no criteria to answer the question. My answer of course is 'YESSSSSS'
      • I don't think we have at the present point a Bayesian metric for evaluating the objective "goodness" of books (provided that there be such a thing), so it's obviously your subjective opinion I wanted. :>

Downloaded an e-version, will read tonight. Also, have this: http://api.ge.tt/0/9AB0XF6/0/blob/download
      • For one it ended on a fairly similarish emotional note to UV's intro, minus innuendo.
        • (uh sequence got mixed up)

          mmmmmmmxxxxxxxxx thanks, will SO read
          • Have the book itself (the official e-release), too, then: http://api.ge.tt/0/8TtsXF6/0/blob/download :>
          • Anyway, Emiko (the +- main heroine, though there are others) as a char is adorable and actually written extremely believably, without a single thing wrong or just stitched on for 'hawt' and 'sexxy' despite internal logic (grr hate that). And the world is unusual/interesting - both from futuristic and Asia-centered point of view. So, basically you can't go wrong with the book.
