Kolektīva prieki: sašutusi kolēģe lasa avīzes un šūmējās:
- Ko viņi vispār iedomājās! Visi tie denacionalizēto namu īrnieki - kādā sakarā lai viņiem kaut ko maksātu - no manas nodokļu naudas! Es jau tā tādas naudas maksāju par dzīvokli, par 100 latiem viena istaba, a kāpēc viņiem viss par brīvu, un vēl centrā, lūdzu, padodiet? Un visi kaut ko grib, šitie cietumnieki ar jāuztur - jūs zinat, cik mēs maksājam par cietumnieku uzturēšanu katru dienu?!?
- Jā, - nokremšķinās priekšnieks, - un viņi vēl tāpat bēg prom.
