I know very little of this band, seems like another one from the wave of, ahem, New Wave-styled bands that sprang around 1984 in Soviet underground circles

one of the first commercial pop-stars in USSR with strictly New Wave/Romantic image, hugely popular in the mid 80's (esp. their frontman Victor Saltykov - see later)

J. Chernavsky & V. Matetzki "The robot"
the studio duo with quirky synth-pop number from their only album "Banana islands", that was a cult record in the mid 80's

strange electropop/cabaret duo with A. Vertinsky impersonation frontman; caused a mild sensation in underground rock circles in the late 80's, but vanished very quickly

New Collection "Romantic express"
an electronic instrumental project that was very popular in the late 80's and very early 90's, their tracks were quite often used as theme music on TV and radio programs

quite a surreal early New Wave number from the band that later became a soft metal one with strong Christian leanings (so-called "white metal")

one of the first and best Russian "real" synth-pop bands (black clothes, Kraftwerkian poses, strong technocratic orientation in music and lyrics...) with their top (IMO) song.
