By your definition it is impossible to be friend to all, but if somebody still foolishly ties, who would want to be friends with that kind of obsessive? Or perhaps a person ir fearful and is afraid to make enemies, in that case also who would what to be friends with such person? Basically my take on this is that desire to be friends to all usually comes from some unattractive personality trait.
