I discovered with astonishment the universe of the “Ligas”. A strange parallel sonic system where ancient Latvian folk songs are literally breathed into new existence with the addition of didgeridoo, flute, percussions (and sometimes heavy guitar work on records). A gorgeous moment we spent when I arrived in town.
