fak, nupat samaksāju rēķinus. that shit depresses me. man šķiet, ka valstij būtu cilvēkiem jādod elektrība un ūdens par velti. ok, I know it's impossible. bet šī doma idejai par civilizāciju atbilst vairāk nekā realitāte.

Income below DKK 42,900 (USD 7,600) (2009-level, adjusted annually) is tax exempt (except from the gross tax).

If you have what is considered a very low income (DKK 150,000, USD 26,550) you pay approx. 44,500 DKK in income tax (including gross tax), i.e. approx. 29.7% of the full amount.

If you have what is considered an average income (DKK 375,000, USD 66,370) you pay approx. DKK 135,300 in income tax, i.e. approx. 36.1% of the full amount.

If you have what is considered a high income (DKK 780,000, USD 138,050) you pay approx. DKK 380,600 in income tax, i.e. approx. 48.8% of the full amount.

Under the Danish tax system, therefore, it is perfectly conceivable for a high-wage earner to pay out up to 63% of their total income (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tax_rates_around_the_world).

Denmark also has a Value Added Tax at 25%; which is the highest VAT in the world.

Bet, cik es atceros, tad Dānijā 25% takse netiek piemērota dažiem labumiņiem. (nez, kā latviski "goods" tulkojas)
