Your challenge is to write crossover fanfiction combining Max Payne and The Bible. The story should use an overdose as a plot device!
Jesus awoke in a burning room. All doors locked, all windows barred. The flames seemed cold and idle. There lay note on the burning table. It was written by a smooth hand, all pretty curves and lines. "You're a computer game, Jesus". Suddenly Jesus could see it all - weapon icons hovering above his head, a life bar slowly refilling at his side. It all made sense. |

What I myself find interesting regarding this, is: does Jesus have an unlimited number of respawns? For he has already used one, if Bible tells us truth. | |
