And, "theory" is a good, strong word for something there exists an amount of veritable evidence for, and which explains the given phenomenon while fitting well into the larger picture. What you probably mean is "hypothesis". :>

theory also stands for something that works in artificially created environment, but doesn't go through in the real world (nepiesieties jēdzienam real world, bitte).
