When Harry Met Sally (1989)  
Šausmīgi sentimentāla filma. Bet tādā diezgan labā veidā sentimentāla. Un tikpat labā veidā acīmredzama. Viena no tām, kur tev ir iepriekš paredzēts saprast visu, kas notiks, un tomēr tu skaties un priecājies par to, kā tas ir parādīts.
Un ļoti astoņdesmitie.
Vispār es to filmu biju redzējusi kaut kad ļoti sen TV; man šķiet, ka tik sen, lai es nemaz oficiāli nedrīkstētu viņu skatīties toreiz (reitingi un tā). Bet vienīgais, ko es no tās senās skatīšanās atcerējos, bija "morāle" par to, ka sieviete un vīrietis nevar būt draugi, "because the sex thing is already out there". Neesmu droša par savu viedokli šajā jautājumā, tāpēc morāli nekomentēšu, bet filma ir piemīlīga un ar stilu.

Interesting to think of sex as a thing.
However, I think that the statement is basically true.

"do you have male friends, just friends?"
"yes!"
"really, you do?"
"yes!!"
"you just think you do. actually they all want to have sex with you."

on the other hand, I wonder if it means people like me and you can't have any friends at all, I mean, if it's such a horrible thing to have "that sex thing" out there. I think I have friends. so. the statement is pretty contradictory.
right?

right.

having sex with a friend is like having sex with your brother/sister. and brother and sisters and friends are who they are no matter the gender.
