It seems to me that fraudulent conveyance aptly describes both the corporate junk-bond raiders and the IMF/EC bailout of Latvia - both financed by the issuance of debt by entities that can access funds created as debt, who then strip national (or company's) assets and cut the populations benefits/pay/pensions (or workforce's pay) to pay back these debts - a clear leveraged take over of a country. |
