Per Block’s research area is the Sociology of Networks, where he develops and refines statistical methods, and analyses the complex evolution of informal networks in various settings. Furthermore, he applies network concepts and methods to study social mobility, inequality and diversity. His conceptual and methodological approach focusses on the interdependence of individual decisions and the resulting macro-level structures using rigorous statistical network methodology. |
