Of course it is relevant (not 'I'm relevant')- I lived there for my first 27 years. When I attempt to understand how a group of people act, and it is strange/odd to me - I try to understand that this group has a different background/unwritten social roles - especially a tight/closed group - I think that's obvious. So, in this case - well, I wrote off about behaviour that I thought was ... well.. hard to accept/understand, precisely to this - I am not one of you - I wasn't born here/didn't grow up here. That's a fact that won't change: it's not a problem - just the way it is. |
