Mussamil Hassan, the Pakistani who founded a post-9/11 cable channel in Buffalo ostensibly to dispel an image of Islam as a violent cult, received a maximum sentence for beheading his wife because she wanted a divorce. Assiya Hassan's headless body was found inside the TV studios by police. Hassan's trial was often delayed by antics, and he went through five defense teams, for a while presenting his own case after courtroom tilts with his attorney. He was sentenced to 25 years to life."

Kristietība ir paguvusi novecot un sākt lēni, taču nenovēršami atmirt pati no sevis, apkārtējai "Rietumu" pasaulei izaugot no iracionālas ticības - tā to saskatu es, protams, šeit ļoti vienkāršojot ainu. Islāms joprojām nav ticis cauri tai fāzei, kura kristietībā sāka beigties ar vēlīno renesansi.
