yea that's the great distinction b/w here-local and british-american attitude and perception towards food :)
I've notice quite a few of them find a great deal of fun in throwing foods at each other, moreover, I one seen a boxed children game (in the cashdesk queue at Morrisons), named Throw-a-Meatball-on-Chef :)
