Rant is a fictional oral history of Buster "Rant" Casey, which could be the most efficient serial killer of our time. Rant, a rebellious teen who becomes the leader of a demolition derby upon moving to the big city also becomes a childhood killer. The story revolves around the fictional accounts of Rant's three friends who are asked to give testimony of his endevours after Rant's "spectacular" death to form an oral history of Rant's life. Rant is the 10th novel by Palahniuk.
