"The best punk band you've probably never heard of is Die Kreuzen from Rockford, Illinois, which happens to be my home town. They were doin' their thing when I was in pre-school, but I can definitely see how a rusty-crusty crack-addled town like 1980s Rockford had the potential to have been a breeding ground for real, raw punk shit like this rather than, ya know, Cheap Trick. Not tryin' to knock Cheap Trick (also from Rockford), but they can't come close to Die Kreuzen's kind of fire, imo."
