The Doctrinal Conflict
Looked at the free Battlestar Galactica Online, remembered an ex-gf who was a fan, thought maybe i should join and invite her, as a gesture of friendship and goodwill....
...and realised that precisely 1 min past the title screen we would have a fight and it would end in insults (mostly her insulting me) and hate.
It goes back to the pilot episode of the new BSG where 6 reveals to Gaius she has planted the termonuclear charge in Caprica City.
Gaius: So you're a machine? And everything between us was a pretense?
6: No, i'm a woman. And a Cylon. And no.
I kind of took sides, right there. Which she has never forgiven. Nothing like a sci-fi themed family drama.
