all you say here is true. and I had never exactly thought about it!
but I don't know what's wrong with that. I mean, if everything just gets better and better, and still, at any given moment, is good ENOUGH.. it should be fine.

the only bad thing I really see here is that once you're done with something good, you can never go back to worse. whatever the thing evaluated is. nothing is ever good enough again, unless it's.. better. or at least as good as when you last checked. and so, there are less and less things you're ok with.
