simri | 11:05 pm I'm all for NewSpeak, when I try to read through geographic articles.
Why the fuck do social scientists have to use all the fancy vocabulary? I can understand the real scientists, but not these people. I can understand every word separately, but all of them together in a sentance (which are also generally too long to be normally comprehensible) the fancy SAT words do not make much sense. Are they writing for people or what? If not, then who is? I want to be able to get the necessary information without reading one small paragraph five times in a row.
