My People
A race of people who rose with the sun,
As strong as the sun they had laws,
Traditions coexisting with nature.
The cycle of the sun is likened to the life of man;
The snake is said to bite when the sun is at its most powerful zenith.
The snake has already bitten,
When the snake bites the sun,
The clan, the man, the sun,
Must sink cooling to its inevitable settings,
Yet, it is said, the sun will rise again.
