as he walks Kim keeps his mind blank as a mirror with nothing to reflect. he gives no one reason to see him. suddenly raw hot fear rises from the ground and flares out of booths. he knows what has happened. he has carried emtiness to the breaking point. he has been seen. a man stops directly in his path and stares. others stop, pointing and shouting a word he does not understand: "Dindin!"

man apnika pārrakstīt, bet pēc tam viņš pārcirta pretiniekam rīkli un metās bēgt, iebrauca ar roku suņa sūdā un tādējādi nobiedēja vajātājus. pēc tam pie upes viņu savāca zaļš maza auguma onkulītis. viņi peldēja laivā.

tur pamatā ir ēģiptiešu mirušo grāmatu un koncepcija, ka cilvēkam ir septiņas dvēseles. ja esmu pareizi sapratis, tad tagad ņemas viena no viņām vārdā Džo (Sekem pēc ēģ. tā nāves gadījumā ķermeni pamet otrā. tā pilda pavēles, ko dod Ren, kura ķermeni pamet pirmā un kura ir tāds kā direktors. Sekem pilda Ren pavēles un zin, kuras pogas spiest)
