When you grow up with nothing, every day is drudgery; a lesson in eating shit and being "diligent" under the thumbs of ghouls who seem to take delight in making things more difficult or boring for you. You grow up and out of the plain brown paperboard of life and volley headfirst into bells and whistles, the stuff you should have had as a kid but could never quite reach. Are we not machines? |
