Europe is not the EU.
European society is/was broadly quite robust. Europeans are broadly cultural, principled, hardworking, honest etc.
Large organizations are broadly secure, reliable and trustworthy. Corruption exists but its less than other parts of the world.
The EU state is the opposite of all of that especially in the sense of corruption and culture. Thanks to the self serving corrupt EU, Europe has been half destroyed and invaded.
The EU does/did some good things to be fair. But as a union it has far too much political influence. It should have only ever been focused on trade, and standards.
Most Europeans are completely ignorant or brainwashed about Russia. Russian society is quite different to European societies. But I would still say that broadly Russia is more similar to Europe compared to anywhere else. Maybe due to religious roots. And yet, Russia bad, India good, Africa best. |

Orban had a good run, I mean just imagine how hard it is to build and maintain a voter bloc for 16 years. Probably with more than a little use of the dark arts, too. But in any case, people usually get tired of you after 8 years. I thought he was already cooked in the last election so I'm less sad than other people are happy.
He was also the last exponent of the whole "With Jews you win" strategy, i.e. pay tribute to the Zionist-MAGA axis to get permission to enact your domestic agenda. I can't comment much on how that domestic agenda has panned out recently, but in terms of international politics, it was just becoming sad lately. With the yearly AIPAC clown show where they stand for the national anthem of the US.
If Orban was the only one stopping 90 gorillion euros from going to Zelensky, then to be honest, the little guy deserves it. There is nobody that wants to be fleeced as much as the EU. Having Hungary as the little Gaul village was nice to have, but you can't expect this situation to go on forever.
