a fallen god

sitting on the rough edge of this misty abyss
feeling so light I swing my legs in joy of the unseen
dreaming into oblivion of those hung purple clouds
near my realm into the sunset-painted horizon
shall we take a walk towards there...?
Ah... I see...
you dispel my image of heaven with this distrust
you rape my ideas and turn it like it was only some foolish lust
you, who understands nothing -
do you really still think you're a god?
what for did I try
if all I did was in vain?
what for did I rise you
if you shall fall again?
a sad and a fallen god you are
drunk from your own splendour that has long gone
alone, all alone I sit there and play with the world
shaping into reality the image of my belief
while you cry and tear all your walls apart
vading through desire and pitfalls of broken dreams
beyond, far beyond you, in this dreamy realm
my fantasies flow so untouched and divine
while you sleep through these ashes and dust
drinking this filth like the wine of gods
down, all down your spirit falls as I rise in my thought
beyond your rainy and sad humanity
that burdens you so...
no longer do I recognize the person I met
no longer any advice from you costs more than a spit
I'm in no debt
for a ruined castle where my idols once dwelt
feeling so light I swing my legs in joy of the unseen
dreaming into oblivion of those hung purple clouds
near my realm into the sunset-painted horizon
shall we take a walk towards there...?
