My favorite characters. No matter what I read or watch or even listen to my favorite characters always have a tendency to die or in the best case - leave everything or ruin their lives in a most peculiar way like get married to a princess or something. If they are the brilliant knights in shining armor - they will be killed in a fight to the death with the rulers of the underworlds, if they are the seemingly unnoticeable but still extremely sincere, quite cute pilots or followers of any other occupation worthy of the foil of the main character they will die a slow and painful death in the name of the cause. And if they happen to be the smart, brooding byronic heroes... Wait for it... They DIE! Even the mean antagonists, who are completely likable in my eyes alone, tend to suffer a fatal episode. I know it is an easy way to achieve emotional response from the public, but enough is enough. Stop bloody killing all the characters I like, damn it!
