A federal judge ordered the Nevada government to place MPP’s marijuana regulation initiative on the November 2006 ballot. The initiative would remove all penalties for the use and possession of up to one ounce of marijuana by adults aged 21 and older, as well as create a system for the legal distribution and sale of marijuana to adults.
