es te lasu visādas receptes un man nāk tādi kā nedaudz pāķa smiekli tad, kad tam jāsaskaras ar pilsētnieku smalkumu pāķu darbos.

piemēram, baigā tur amīšu cutting-edge desertu šefa komentārs par sastāvdaļām:
"The wild strawberries of France, or fraises du bois, bear no resemblance to our cultivated strawberries. Fraises du bois are tiny and incredibly, intensely sweet. If you don´t have your own patch of wild strawberries, choose the finest cultivated strawberries you can find at the market"" jā, jā, market, atbrauciet sezōnā uz LV un no katra bomža, kam nav citu ienākumu avotu, varēsiet nopirkt ķoci ar fraises du bois :D

vai arī šitas:
"The mixture was prodded through until the casings were stretched into sausages about the size of kielbasa." Emmm, es saprotu, ka frančus mīlošajai amerikāņu kulināru saimei kalbasa šķiet kaut kas gana eksōtisks, lai to nesauktu vienkārši par "sausage", bet to, ka sosidžam ir kāds noteikts kielbasa (khem) izmērs, to gan es nezināju..
