I particularly enjoy seeing morons clap with glee when their overlords manage to implement this or that dystopian policy, fully believing that when all of the offensive people and conservatives are silenced and imprisoned, that'll be the end of it. After all, the propaganda bureaus and the censors are demonizing and silencing people I don't like. What's wrong with that? Censorship + disarmament = utopia right around the corner!
The real pretense is the one maintained by the people pulling the strings. Once they consolidate enough power, useful left-wing idiots won't be useful anymore, and suddenly whining about race and gender will stop getting results. By then, though, identity politics will be the least of their worries.
