The second article refers to official government statistics from the state which show e.g. that out of 817 cases of rape and sexual assault 120 were committed by the "refugees" (mostly Afghan and Syrian ones to be exact). That means more than every 8th case!
Note that this does not mean that in the other cases the perpetrators were native Germans. They are only considering people currently seeking asylum or people currently living here based on an asylum grant "refugees" here. After a couple of years they can change their status to permanent residency (independent of any alleged threats in their homeland) or even citizenship.
The sad thing is that Die Welt is the only mainstream media covering any of this. If you read any other major newspaper, or just watch TV news you wouldn't know any of this because they are all covering it up. This is vital to understand the situation in Germany I think. Most people don't even know what's going on!

More ridiculously horrible statistics:
- Most of the welfare recipients in Germany are migrants (52.6% in East Germany, 59.5% in West Germany)
- 36% of all children in Germany are migrants
- German overwhelmingly attracts migrants with little to no education
- Despite leftist declarations not all cultures are equal: 88% of Chinese immigrants pass the university entrance exam, only 16% of the Turkish ones do.
This country is so fucking screwed long-term. I think few Germans are willing to face what these numbers mean for our future.
