Administrative Violations Code, but it seems that there is no english translation for it (the document is huge actually).Relative sections are 77, 78, 79. Concerning cruelty agains animals there are 106, 106.1.

Section 77 - Violation of rules of animal protection
For violation of rules of animal protection -
natural persons are find of 20 to 500 lats, though legal persons - of 100 to 800 lats.
Section 78 - Violation of rules of protection of species and biotopes
For violation of rules of protection of species and biotopes -
natural persons are find of 10 to 500 lats with seizure of illegally acquired individuals and their parts, though legal persons - of 500 to 1000 lats with seizure of illegally acquired individuals and their parts,
For activities without a licence, that is necessary according to rules of protection of speciec and biotopes or rules of creating a collection of wild animals, or for violation of conditions set by a licence -
natural persons are fined of 20 to 500 lats, though legal persons - of 50 to 1000 lats.
