It all began
during the Second World War. Faced with shortages affecting the
pharmaceutical industry, Danielle Roches, a nurse at the Ophthalmic
Department of the Hospitals of Paris, formulated a balm based on healing
plants to treat the victims suffering from burns to the eyes.
She then notices an astonishing side effect: beyond healing the
burns of her patients, her healing plant-derived cream dramatically
stimulated the growth of the eyelashes and eyebrows.
Danielle Roches had to share this wonderful discovery with other
women. So in 1948, she marketed the first skin care product of the
eyelashes, EYELASH CONDITIONING CREAM.
So began TALIKA’s destiny.
