    This is going to get downvoted because this community cannot bear criticism, of any kind, at all. But the facts are the facts: Blizzard (spēļu kompānija) phones it in. They've cut every corner they possibly could and many they couldn't, really, were they any other business.

    And we hurl money at them, paying for their shiny new portraits despite the fact that they continually, repeatedly give us a broken game, and one that's broken by design:

    You pay the devs as little as you can, and make them work as much as possible; you don't test, let the community do that; you strip your networks down to the level of non-performance wherein the lost playerbase financially represents less than what you'd been paying to Amazon. You develop formats and content that doesn't need the same amount of lovingly crafted attention the company built its reputation on, instead leveraging contemporary cognitive psychology and learning theory to produce slot-machine-like payouts along rewards and punishment schedules that are nigh-cocaine to the human brain (note: I work for a cog psych lab that has sent post-docs to Ubi &Microsoft; I promise you, the industry works like this).

    You begin a campaign of gradually destroying the dimensions of your game you cannot control the monetization of; if you can't stop people from going F2P [cilvēki, kas par spēles naudu nopērk visu] with arena skills, you just pay less gold for wins and wildly increase the RNG until the format ceases to conflict with your bottom line.

    At every step, at every level, what Blizzard does, now, is find methods of algorithmically or procedurally, at least, maximizing investor returns. The people who make decisions about this game do not play it lololol, probably don't even know how to.

    Frogger (kārts spēlē) is just a symptom of a much larger disease, which is that HS (Hearthstone) is not, truly, a "game" in the traditional sense;

    it is addiction software (!!!), it's job is not to create fun for profit, it's job is find and manipulate that minority who
    lack the self-control not to be affected by this concerted effort to prey on their cognitive/neurological nature. The rest of us are incidental.
