Stratfor cinismā jeb ģeopolitisma fatālo tekstu vidū beidzot kaut kas svaigāks. Šoreiz tas ir George Friedmen skats uz leģendārā (makronotikuma, nevis ne-notikšanas nozīmē) 9/11 raisītajiem kariem, autoram jautrās intonācijās norādot uz liekulību, kļūdām "tā karos parasti gadās" un izmantojot citus paņēmienus Štatu pagājušās un jaunās dekādes politikas attaisnošanai, tekstu beidzot ar (nu jau patiešām smieklīgu) frāzi "Now it is time to resume history". Tas nu gan ir labi, paldies!.
Īpaši atzīmēju teikumus "The problem is that international law has simply failed to address the question of how a nation-state deals with forces that wage war through terrorism but are not part of any nation-state. Neither criminal law nor the laws of war apply [..] The inability of the law to deal with reality generated an image of American lawlessness" |
