Novembris 4., 2006
coda | 17:40 - Welcome.. //November 4, 2007// well, dear Arvi. THIS ENTRY IS TO YOU! yes, it's public, but no one will see it because i took an old entry i had reserved for notes (and put it as a link of the tab to the left), but i found it useless... and here you are! ..yes, it's dated with today's date..almost. but previous year's. (so that it doesn't appear at the top of my latest entries, for everyone to see. let them, if they do stumble upon it.. but not just like that.) :)
SO. Here i start.
THE SNOW. As i told you, it started snowing yesterday, but it wasn't much of a snow.. so here it what it looked like after it had snowed for a couple of hours:
and it's still snowing in that picture!
(i link them from flickr, therefore you can just go and see a larger picture there, although they are not necessarily better quality..)
here's other corners of our house:
that was yesterday morning.. yesterday evening (or, to put it Bronte's way - yester-morning and yester-evening..) there was already way more snow, but i took no pictures.. as it was the first snow of the year and it hasn't been much below zero so far.. most of it just melted away.
so, today it looked like this:
(you can see some apples hanging from the apple trees in the next picture...)
BUT THIS IS NOT WHAT WE CALL REAL SNOW. Every year for a week or two or a month (or who knows how long..) it gets like this:
('tis not my house! it's the house opposite of mine..)
and this is my backyard: you can compare the tree pictures of my backyard that i have put in this entry... i must say that this one will be a little problematic to compare not just because of snow but because it was taken before this summer - and some things have changed in this view... even the mountain ashes have grown.
The next picture is the extremely interesting view out of my window.
and my room... i'll show you some of my room, too. NOT ALL, because.. every other corner of it is in mess; it's because i don't spend too much time at home and when i get here i prefer to have the drop-all-in-a-heap style and just proceed with my things i want to do.. :)
so. it's been these colours since the last summer when i ..made it like this.
Can you see that the walls are different colours? ..i don't think you can.. oh well.. they are! i also know that the pictures aren't that great a quality do read the bookspines or actually have a good look at what i have on my shelves... (by the way, i'm terribly happy about the shelves, too, because i got them just last summer.. and i was craving for them for a long time! ..therefore you get another picture of another part of my room, of a wall in a different colour with different shelves!)
(it's funny that you can see the two walls meet but can scarcely see the difference in colours!!!! argh. I think i'll have to get a better camera soon... among other things i'd like to get.)
this is something else from my room:
yes, very.. very impressive, i know! :D this is the place i like to be, lay back in my armchair and ....do what i do.
the following isn't in my room, it's in the living room, yesterday, while i was watching "Moulin Rouge":
Oh, by the way, do you remember how i told you one early morning that i was doing some darren-related embroidery? well, i was! ..and i remember promising to show it to you, and you'd see it in the next picture, hadn't my cat stepped in front of it...
BUT... (yeah, i know, it's not really interesting, YET...)
and here - in plain dayalight -
now.. what to show next? ...MY CAT! ..because here's a little part of my brother's room, a lovely CD on the top of a pile of things.
See? HE insists on being everywhere!!
even here..
and here..
even now he's sleeping on my lap!
and here.
(i've looked better in pictures, but i don't look disastrously here. so. yeah. :))
there.
FIN.
