she had been drawing hearts in the dust of a Krajbank A(utomated) T(eller) M(achine) until her grandmother came to get her - as they walked past me her grandmother was gently and calmly trying to tell her something, but... ahh it was no use, and she waved it/her/the years away with calm frustration (a gentle dismissive lowering of the forearm). |
