Speaking of archetypes, the dog started barking at 01:00, so I got up and opened the front door to see my daughter talking to a guy at the garden gate.
I let the dog out so he could smell him out, and then stood there in my underwear for a slightly uncomfortable period of time.
Should have had a rifle half-cocked.
The (Irish) father of my first great romantic love departed from the living room on my (first) entrance to 'trim' the roses with a chainsaw. |
